Investing in children’s formative years for Kyrgyzstan’s future 25 Oct 2013

Two teams of children from Kyrgyzstan took part in the 2013 Race for Survival calling on greater investment in child healthcare across the country on October 23rd. The event was attended by 3,500 people and supported by the Mayor’s office in Bishkek. 40 child participants present were divided into two groups, Tigers and Lions, with the Tigers coming in first, at a race time of 1h55m3s, beating the world record of Patrick Makau, who completed the marathon in 2h3m38s.
