Meet our Campaigners: Afghanistan 6 Feb 2014

Afghanistan

I am Zubaida Akbar. I have been working for Save the Children Afghanistan Country as a Campaign and Communications Manager since April 2012.

Working as an advocate in Afghanistan is very exciting and every challenge is also an adventure which I enjoy very much. Normally our biggest challenge working here is security. In order to get to the office, I have to go through three security check points every day.

A typical day in office, involves meetings with my program colleagues on the advocacy and communications teams and deciding what support I can provide them.
